A DI filter is a mix of positive and negative charged resins mixed together in a cartridge in order to remove the positive and negative elements from the water. In order to find out what will be removed from the water by a DI look up the things you are looking to remove and find out if they have a negative or a positive value. A DI will remove anything that has a charge and will not remove elements that are nuetral :)
