Diamond Goby. Good or Bad?

Thinking about getting a diamond goby to stir my sand-bed. Any thoughts? Are they a good fish to have?

They're great for stirring the sand. You won't be able to keep anything on your sand bed however. They will move or bury it. Sometimes they'll also swim up with mouthfuls of sand and dump them on your rocks. I've only had 1 out of 4 do that but it was quite annoying. Now my lawnmower blenny does it instead...haha. They can also get aggressive with other fish that may hangout in their level of the tank (hawkfish, blennies, other gobies).

What size tank? They definitely will grab a mouth full and distribute on corals and sand. Great cleaners, but make sure the tank is also big enough to support them for the long term.

If you do decide on a Diamond Goby make sure it's eating prepared foods first. They're not moving all that sand around for fun, there stripping/eating all the micro fauna within it. Once this is diminished that fish might be SOL.

I love mine, they are so full of personality. They will move your sand around quite abit so make sure your rock is STABLE before putting them in as the shifting sand can make your rock fall over. But other than that they fun.

Will it get along with the lawnmower blenny and vice versa? My lawnmower blenny will doesn't play nice with another blenny.
