Not a disease, I know, but.....
I came home from work yesterday only to find my diamond watchman goby's eye is either missing or very severely damaged. There is still a "lump" on his head where his eye is, but there is skin (or maybe it's the eye itself??) covering the opening and I can't tell if it's there or not. There is just a big black lump.
Anyway, I've never seen any other fish pick on him so I don't know if he got scared by something and accidentally scraped his eye on rock or what? I don't think there's anything I can do other than just give him time and hopefully there is no infection or anything. I was so bummed when I saw that.
