Diamonds in the not-so-Rough

Diamonds in the rough simly didnt work for this particualr situation, because the "rough" is actually a nice color morph.

The darker pink ones are what I thought the whole frag was but then I noticed something brighter on top, very interesting so I observed. Used my turkey baster on steroids to move it. Low-and-behold, this was the aura poking out from the top of the zoas.

I cant wait for these to grow out! Please note that this photo does no justice to the absolute brilliance of this coral. I had to scoot it really close to the glass to even get this decent picture and even still its a bit grainy.

they are kinda "ok".....

j/k....they are very very nice, i'm so jealous of all these gems you are collecting, we are gonna have to do a good thermos trade once the weather warms up...

btw.....whats the address to your house? and when will you be out of town?

That's a nice pick up......especially if you were not expecting a color morph like that....nice surprise.

Sweet! Grow a few out, slap a pretty name on 'em, fax a copy over to Zoaid.com, and charge $1000 a polyp. I'll take 3 polyps when you ready. :lolspin: ........................  Kinda looks like PHE red ring's cousin.

Dood, if you're willing to pay $1000 a polyp I'll sell the whole thing to you right now (sans one polyp). HAHAHA! Seriously, if you're interested, PM me, I could use the money :p

Nah, I did the whole, buy a nice colony and sell frags immediately and it really slows the growth of the colony as a whole. I've come to the realization that while fragging made me a little money and left me with 80+% of the frag, its not worth it, especially when even "large" colonies look tiny in the 150 :p
