Diatom Filters

I just set up my new tank the other day and the water is still kind of cloudy. I was just wondering if I could run my diatom filter on it for a while. I didn't know if I could run a diatom filter on a saltwater tank or not.

new set-ups and cloudy water are normal.
yes, you can run a Diatom filter in SW tanks.
