diatoms after 3 months?

I got some diatoms at the beginning and them i got hair algea and now diatoms again? It's all over the glass and substrate.
Substrate is aragonite. I added 13 blue legged hermit crabs and all the hair algea is gone. I have 5 decent sized turbo snails. Will those take care of the diatoms on the glass and substrate? Do I scrub it off from the glass and do a water change or do I let it be?
I have 2 clowns and 3 soft coral frags. I feed the clowns once a day . Do I cut back?

Turbos and diatoms

I've never seen turbos do anything with diatoms. Just let them run their course. I had 3 or 4 episodes of diatoms in the first year of my tank. They will dissipate when the silica runs out.

Feel like adding a sand sifter. The glass on my tank was full today.
What cleans the glass good?
