Ok i need some help or pointers i set up my 175 bowfront in november 2012... New sand about 200-260 pounds......live fiji rock about 250 pounds
Lights where 3x150 watt Mh (pheonix 14k) & 8x39watt t5 (atnic blue)
Aqueon model 4 refugium with miracle mud and cheatomorphia
Asm G2 protein skimmer
1 550 phosphate reactor with Dr.g phosphate & silica remover media
1 150 phosphate reactor with carbon
Dart return pump
9 watt turbo twist coralife uv sterilizer
3 1200 circulation pumps
Chiller 1/4 hp
Dosing b-ionic 2 part
FISH:
lg yellow belly blue tang
Xl blonde naso
Med purple tang
Xl yellow tang
Med unicorn tang
Lg flame angel
Coral beauty
Bullet goby
3 small damsels
2 sm chromis
1 percula
1 tomato clown
Dose every night live phytoplankton to the tank
Corals,red monti,strawberry short cake,spongitus,orange digitara,green slime,hollywood stunner,neon green birdsnest,xenia,green mushrooms,blue mushrooms 3 mini maxi carpet,rock anemone,2 RBTA,finger leather,ricordias,galaxia,green brain,sun coral,yellow polyps,goriilla nipple zoas,aussie green duncans,aussie wall hammer,branching hammer,aussie torch,hydnophora,gonipora,kenya trees
0nitrate,0phosphate,0ammonia,8.4 ph,cal460-470,alk11
Most of the life stock came from a my old 90 gall and my rock so i made an upgrade two crowded now ive recently upgrade to 3 x 250 watt mh with no name bulbs supposably 4 months old & 4 x 96 watt pc also 4 months old my rock is in the center from left to right center being the highest pont thats where most of my sps are to recieve the most light possible since i was short with 150 mh the sps are about 14 inches below the center light.now they are losing color and my ssc & green slime are showing bleach spots could it be that they are getting to much light or the bulbs on the new fixture are garbage everyone else is perfect and keep growing.
i am not target feeding should i ?
And also my diatoms went away around the 3rd month but at the 5th month they sarting coming back and ever since i got the new fixture with the bulbs it came with im seeing more diatoms and some green algea....
Pls any advice will help thanks
