Oooooh, that sucks. Doubt it though. Does he have plenty of rock to graze on? In a 72 if there's a bunch of live rock he should be fine. All bets are off when an animal is starving, but I'm going with highly unlikely here. They're not exactly palatable creatures to most. Mine spends a lot of time around and sometimes over zoos, disturbing the heck out of them, but has never eaten a single polyp. Diademas are good for reef tanks as far as urchins go. Check the zoo board for pests that can make them "disappear"...
