Found this in my 65gal that I just setup. Crab legs for dinner tomorrow.

Have you ID him? With the large pinchers, it looks to be carnivorous. Could it be a Gorilla Crab?

I'm not so sure. It's hard to tell because the photos are not clear, but the end of his left big claw (scientific term) looks scoop-shaped to me, and the carapace looks like a mithrax.

sweet find, hope you didnt kill him. it would make a great reason to setup that 10 gal invert tank for all those non reef friendlies.
