difference between perc, false perc, and ocellaris

Ok i was always under the impression that false percs and ocellaris are the same thing...is this true?

I know that true percs are the real deal (obviously) and i thought that ocellaris is just another name for false perc...but last night someone told me that they're different all together and there is really 3 different ones, not just 2 in which one has 2 names

no there are two not 3
false percula is the same as a occelaris
and a true perc is a regular percula

THANKS! thats exactly what i was always under the impression of. I was told that by the lfs (that there are 3 different ones) and i thought the guy was just BS'ing me so i figured i'd ask.

You'd really think the LFS would admit that they have no clue, rather than BSing people. My LFS told me when I first entered the hobby, that the more clownfish in the tank, the better, as they were a schooling fish. Thankfully, I had done my reading previously, and decided against buying fish from a LFS that either A) was a group of morons or B) was trying to sell more clownfish, and in turn, make more money.
