Difference between tunze 9005 and 9006

What is the difference between the tunze 9005 and 9006?

I know its a newer model, but what has been changed? Its because I can buy the 9005 for a bit cheaper than the 9006.

The 9005 would still have warranty from date of purchase right? I'm getting it new from store.

Also, My tank is 50 gallons and 3/4 inch acrylic. Does a hang on back kit come with purchase? Magnet won't work.

The 9005 has the older rail holders and pump 9005.040. 9006 has a new e-Jet pump 9006.040 and includes magnet holders instead of rails. The main difference is the 9006 pump is quieter, 9005 pump used a mechanical system of brakes to stop the impeller which is unidirectional from spinning backwards, this added friction points and noise. The 9006 pump use an electronic system to be sure it spins the right way.

Where do I order rail holders if I plan on buying the new one? If its too costly, I will probably go with the older model.

Is it possible to convert a 9005 to magnets?

Yes, you only need to add a 6080.500 magnet holder.
