difference between yuma and ricordia

What are the difference between ricordias and yumas.
Which are these?

#1 is Ricordea Yuma. #2 is a type of Rhodactis.

Why do these look so bubbly compared to most yumas I see?

Just the way they are. And ricordea's are yumas. I still don't understand why people refer to floridias as ricordea then think yumas are something completely different.

I think you mean: Yumas are Ricordeas.

They are different, hence the distinction, it is just hard to say I have a bunch of floridas in my tank

The distinction is in areas they are collected from, coloring and shape of polyps.
Yes, All Yumas are ricordea , just not the same as Ricordea FL.

I know ricordia's are yumas but like you said florida ricordias are often just called ricordias and ricordia yuma are often just refered to as yumas. I was just wondering how to tell the difference.

with yumas you'll see knobs all the way up to the mouth. floridas don't have that.

In my experiance the R. yuma's get a lot bigger than the R. floridas also the bubbles on the yuma can get a lot bigger. Also my Yumas don't tolerate as much light as the floridas do. If you compare pictures of the two it becomes obvious how different they really are.
