Difference in color of RBTA from different places?

A LFS had a deep red RBTA that the owner thought had come in in one of his Fiji shipments.
It was quite a bit more red than the ones from Vietnam he had in the same tank.
I had thought the only difference in RBTA's was a bit of green on the base in the Vietnamese ones. So is there a color difference in the main body between RBTAs from different regions?

You can find RBTAs with a bit of green at the base from pretty much anywhere. From what I have seen over the years there isn't really a specific locale for specific colors. I have seen really nice RBTAs from Indonesia, Fiji, Tonga, Red Sea, Marshall Islands, Australia, pretty much anywhere BTAs are found.
