Different clown mixing?

I'm just curious to hear about others success with mixing clown fish. I currently have a Tomato, a Yellowtail and a True Percula Clownfish in my tank and they all get along.

maroon and tomatoe mixed....in a 150 gallon. Each hosts it own anemone...they only squabble when they come near each others nems....

Had a true perc in at one time. The tomatoe ignored him. The maroon would have killed him if I wouldnt have gotten him out.

all depends on tank size and like shane said, if they have their own home they shouldnt bother each other. I had a black pair which hosted a green carpet and a maroon host a RBTA with no problems and that was in my 65 gallon tank. Now i have parted ways with the maroon (given to a friend) because i wanted more room for other fish

Most clowns get pretty territorial/aggro after about a year, maybe even sooner.
If you try to pair any, that pair will be dominant, and probably kill others.
Many times people think they are cool w/ mixing, may be cool for up to a year, and then when they mature, war.
There are rare exceptions to the rule, but pretty rare.

My roommate had a pair of black saddlebacks that didn't have a host anenome, and a large pair of maroons that hosted in a RBTA. Had them for over a year, and never had a problem. Took the saddlebacks out to give a new blue carpet a chance to stabilize before he put them back in. He realized that he didn't really miss them, so they never came back to his tank.

Another friend of mine has a HUGE pair of maroons, a pair of blackfoot clowns, and a pair of true percs all in his 220, with no problems. All have been in there for over two years now.
