is it bad to have a RBTA come in contact with a Haddoni carpet? Im assuming its bad, but how bad?

Yes, it is bad.
Had it happen to me years ago -- my BTA split and the clone went on walk about, stung the heck out of the Haddoni (( which surprised me, expected it to be the other way around ))
This is a really old picture, but you can see that the BTA touched it on the left side.

I know, I was really shocked by that. I can touch a BTA without issue, but I will never touch a Haddoni without a glove on --- without it sort of hurts, and they hang on like Velcro
