Looking into purchasing one does anyone have any input or thought from experience with one or anything? Thanks!:reading:

I have a bunch of the DA products and would recommend them to anyone. The software update process can be a little buggy, but otherwise it is a great system.

I vote for Neptune

I vote for Neptune

I have an old Neptune ACII and like it better than a RK that I played with. I'll probably go with an Apex when (if) I decide to upgrade. I prefer the flexibility that I get with the X10 interface so I'm in no hurry.

I'm well vested in the DA equipment. Their stuff works great, though i have had to work through some issues. I don't have any hands on time with the APEX, from what I have read the programming is more flexible, though harder to do for the less computer literate. The APEX probably has more features, thought the DA equipment is easier to use and expand.

at the end of the day they both do the job.

I think it is a pepsi/coke thing. Everyone I know has apex products so I went apex and am happy with the choice. They are probably similar.

in the end what is cheaper? After upgrades and what not? Any features that one has that the other does not?
Ive been considering getting one or the other for a little bit now and i think for xmas im going to buy myself one form my 3 1/2 month old.
cant get in trouble if its a gift from him right ;-)

I run a RKL and am very happy with it. It took a little while to get used to the programming but their customer support is awesome at DA. Plus they have their own forum that you can find an answer to pretty much any question you might have.
