Digitate Hydroids

Any idea where to pick up a couple of blue sea dragon nudibranches (Pteraeolidia ianthina)? Hydroids are taking over and thought I'd try a couple of these out.
Thanks in advance,
Pat

That's not one of the nudi's that shows up commonly in the trade. The other trick, the hydroids you have might not even be the right species to feed that nudi.

Is your tank stocked yet? I would suggest keeping your lights off at this early stage. You do not want to hear about my hydroid nightmare. If you are still cycling, even if not....you would be better off keeping your livestock in another tank, or giving it back to the LFS and turning your lights off for awhile. Maybe a month. The problem with any solutions is that they are only temporary, but these hydroids do need light to survive.

Tank has been stocked for months now. As these critters only come out when the lights are off I really don't see what darkness is going to do for them. You may be thinking of the aptasia style hydroid - these are 2"-4" single hair like threads.
