We always have low Calc here - very little in our water.
I think I'm gonna have to start dosing something to bring it up!!

If you have neigbors to check on the tank I would get a bottle of amquel or some other amonia reducing fluid your neigbors can dose while you are gone if you are still having a spike before you leave. If you see any amonia the day before you leave dose the amquel. Then have neigbors dose it if they stop over. It can only help.
