some info about the tank

45*45*60 l-w-h (cm)
2*25mm for water down and 1 20mm for up.
Grotech hea150, oversized yes i know.
LED, diy "dream-chip" with some custom chips for setting time and output.

The led light is put together. Only the lens and a splash guard is whats missing. But i will test it out before adding those, if the led heats upp to much ill have to change something. It is also possible that i have attached it to the heatzink poorly.
The stoneformation is in the tank now aswell, no water though

Now thats pretty badass DIY. What type of LEDs did you end up going with?

And the rock work is nice!

Looks a bit big over the tank, but i like the tube-design. The led is a 5 channel multichip. It is more than i need, but its good to have if i end up with a bigger tank in the future.

20% on all five channels. Maybe i should change to an 45 degree lens instead? its 90 now. Any ideas?

I will do my best glennf!

The cycling has begin. I have put in 4kg live rock that hopefully will bring the dead rock alive. Plan is to cycle it to mid august as i will be travelling europe during the summer. But i should probably put in a clean-up crew before that, right?

Dont know . just lucky that a saw it. Got some new glas today, just hoping that my New bottom and silicone holds.

Some waterparameters from today:

Density - 1,025 (refractometer)
Kh - 9,9
Mg - 1260
Ca - 460
No2 - 0
No3 - 2
Po4 - 0,25

I dont like the high Po4. I am using Ultra Phos 0.04 for the moment. But im not sure on how to place it, high or low flow? When placed in high flow i belive that it is coloring the water.

Any other ideas on how to lower the Po4?

So i fixed the sump with a new bottom which i siliconed. Must have dropped the return pump or something which made the crack. The reason for empty the sump and discover the crack was that i had very much micro bubbles as the return pumps intake was close to the outlet from the skimmer and i was gonna build a bubbletrap. Well i repaired the sump and glued a bubbletrap and now i have crystal clear water.

The deltec HAE150 works excellent aswell, the first day it skimmed out about one centimeter of "tea" from only dead rock!
havent meantioned it but im using the Jebao WP25 wavemaker as a only streamer, it works really good but a bit noise on "wave-mode" Hope that it settles in in time.

Also addes some snails for the algae that starts to grow. They are 5 now and i will add some more in time.

Also added some corals which i got from some friends. Plan is to have lots of zoas at the bottom and SPS higher up.

Im running the led lightning at low output for the moment, peaking at 40% at noon.

If anyone know the id of the corals, please let me know!
