Hey guys.. recently my tank started demanding more alk and Ca.. Kalk alone is not doing the job any more.
So I started using baked baking soda and Ca chloride. Mr Holmes-Farley's Diy receipe and Calculator.
It did the job well.. but since I don't have a dosing pump I had to drip it. And the slower I can drip still emptied out a day's dose in 1hr.. alk went from 6.5 to 8.7 in one hour.. which is to big of a jump in one hour for my taste.
So my question is.. From now till a buy a good dosing system... Can I dilute the recommended ammount.. which is about 3oz in lets say a gallon of ro/di?..
