Dimmable interface

Yes

And its all to do with zero volt switching

The LBF-AP is nothing more than a 1-10Volt interface enabling cable connection from the profiLux to the ballast.

The EVG-AP-2F has relays onboard that sense when the 0 VOLT state has been reached and then switches the 110V power line off, ensuring the ballasts and not live and the thus the lamps do not have a permanent dim glow.

No not the same

The LBF-AP comes in a neat little box, the EVG-AP-2F is a pcb that needs isolating.

You can use the LBF-AP but require your lights to be timed that they switch off at the same time as 0Volts

Do i need either with PF ballast?

Is boxed version of EVG-AP-2F in the works? (I like neat & packaged stuff)

Thanks again - no more questions this am!

Yes you do need either or, as you need an interface between the profilux and the ballast.

Not to my knowledge in answer to your question on boxed
