Dimming LEDs and the APEX

I am probably getting ahead of myself here, I ordered an Apex and it should be here in the next couple of days. I just had a question that I was a little confused on. If you use 0-10 ouptuts for the purpose of lighting do you also have to dedicate a channel on the powerstrip for that operation? I would like to run my LED driver power directly to my wall outlet and just use the 1-10 control voltage of of the Apex, thus saving a few channels on my powerstrip. It this do-able?

You do not need to use EBx outlet if you use the 0-10v outputs to control you drivers; unless you want to have the device powered down when it is not in use.
