Ding Dang PE - Pictures?

Could anyone post an accurate picture of this polyp? I am brooding on ordering some or not. I am able to get them at 4/polyp but I am not sure if they are that nice.

Also, are these a hardy polyp? Any melting issues?

i just came home today to my entire colony of these melted or already gone. had my ding dangs, sticky punch, AoG and some deepwaters that all did the same thing from last night to this evening.

wierd thing is all these zoas/palys were in the same area of the tank and only this area was affected. everything else is perfectly fine. all parameters are in check and the rest of the tank is healthy. onlye other thing i can think of is i had 2 frags of galaxia next to them and i noticed that the galaxia puts off some extremely long streamers. maybe there was some chemical warfare going on in that area. really sucks but i think this is one of those cases were i will never find out what happened.

thats what i was thinking too. there is no other logical reason they would have melted after they have been doing so well. not to mention them all being in the same area of the galaxia frags.

Melting could be attributed to other things. Hell look at DarthMauls, OPE's, Sopranos, Deepwaters and other polyps that melt all the sudden and out of the blue. But since your polyps are near a LPS that is known to send out stingers then we can probably deduce that it could be the potential cause. But not 100%

this is an old thread....

How are everyone's ding dang color doing? Mine lost all their pinkish color and turned dark purple with a neon green mouth and a slight pinkish skirt. I moved this into a darker spot and they seem to be getting some of the color back just inside the skirt and a few random spots of color. I hope they color back up and look like they should. They are in a frag tank and I am running LED over them. Other frags are all doing well.

I have got them twice always just turn a bleh green with nice speckles wouldn't buy them again
they do get more speckly under halides but nothing special IMO

ive had some for over a couple months now, im starting to see another polyp growing, never knew what they were until this post, havent been able to get a clear pic
