Cooked lobster for the first time last night. I was highly disturbed by the concept of throwing it in the pot alive. Only after I named it "Ann Coulter" was I able to do so

That lobster looks nice!!! Serve it up with some garlic butter, and a shell crusher, and you got yourself a tasty meal!!!

Aw, that pales into comparison to what they'd do on the real Japanese Iron Chef.

A few years ago I had a freshwater lobster in a tank... He escaped. Nobody has ever found him. I think my girlfriend is still a little scared to sleep while he is on the prowl...

And... this summer I was working in the High Arctic. One of the lakes we studied was full of these amphipods. About quarter sized.... Out of boredom, cabin fever and a touch of insanity I fried some of these up and ate them. It was a terrible, terrible idea.
