Hi;


How do I control Dinos in my tank? I did the 3 day lights out thing and it killed my acro.


Any Products that can help?

I did not find any products that helped. Lots of larger water changes, daily siphoning of the dinos, and regular 3-day-dark periods helped. My SPS all survived the black outs, as did my fish, although I was pretty nervous. It's possible that water quality issues are part of what killed your acro, and not just the lack of light.

One thing I found really interesting: toward the end of the dino battle, I moved. Some dino covered rock was put in a new tank, with 100% freshly made water, and the dinos have never reappeared, 6 months later. So I really think water changes can help win the fight!
