Dinos help

I am sure I have Dino's and what I am doing so far from what I read.

I turned off lights for 3 days and for sure a lot better but still some brown which kind of says that is almost guaranteed I have dinos. that true?

Don't do water changes instead siphon what you can and use filter socks and replace water back. Haven't done this yet..

I heard if you put rock in freshwater bath it will kill Dinos asap but only do a few every couple of days. I did only one so far.

I am also just started vinegar dosing, will this help?

Thanks..

The old fashioned way to eliminate dinos is to go 3 days lights out; once a month, every month.

You have to be patient though, because for the first month or two the dinos will come back quickly. But I'd rather spend 3-4 months fixing the problem without the need to use chemicals in my DT.

What if you already have a decent amount of corals (10+ colonies)? Is there any ill effect from the 3 days? Any need to lower light intensity after the 3 day period? Thanks

Corals will not have any problems with a 3 day lights out period..
Lowering intensity post blackout could be potentially helpful but would still likely provide light for dino growth/fuel..
