Dinos?

I don't think the invasive dinos that plague us are photosynthetic, but I could be wrong about that.

They are, that's why they aren't as bad in the morning as they are at night, they also produce their plethora of oxygen bubbles toward the end of the lighting schedule. Many people have defeated them with nothing more than a blackout, but some types are more resilient and require multiple treatments simultaneously like high pH, blackout and hydrogen peroxide. I plan on trying the blackout/dirty tank/biodiversity method before going to chemicals.

I guess that does make sense since zooxanthelle is a Dino. I wonder if all Dino species are photosynthetic to an extent.

I think from the 2000 different strains of Dino (which is why there is no cure all remedies) there could be numerous ways they receive their nutrients, but photosynthesis seems to be a common tone.
