Good morning,
is there a recommended dip procedure/solution for anemone to get rid of hitchhikers?
thank you

I have never hear of dipping an invert. Most dips include iodine, which is considered either a toxin or fatal poison for inverts. Logically, I would say no.

Without going into unasked for detail I usually quarantine and medicate with cipro for around 12 days before they go into rhe DT.

This would be correct: 'hitchhiker' usually refers to a pest larger than bacteria. But anemones do get infections, and precautions against importing that are helpful.

That would be a quarantine tank correct?
Just for clarity's sake.

Never a good idea to put antibiotic into your reef. Yes. In qt/hospital tank. And ask about your species and specific meds.

Anemones are known for stinging everything they come in contact with. The only thing that could survive hitchhiking in on an anemone would likely be a clownfish lol The anemone will kill of anything else with it's potent sting.
