Dipping NPS Corals?

I picked up my first nps coral (a sun coral) and have it in QT at the moment.

I was reading around and found this very helpful thread:

It says that you can dip there, but being this is my first NPS, I just want to make 100% sure that I am ok to do so.

I have CoralRx Pro and was planning in dipping as normal if it is OK to dip them.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I would definitely dip them. I just found out the hard way when I lost my prized tubastrea micrantha colony to parasitic nudibranchs.

Definitely dip it and every coral. Good thing, keeping it in qt, also. I know a few who've had to amputate a large portion of their colonies to save the rest due to parasites
