Direct Feed question for GEO Calcium Reactor

I am about to set up my GEO 612 calcium reactor and have a question about the feed. Can I direct feed the reactor from a T off my return line? If I do this, will there be an effect when I shut off my main return pump at feeding time?

I feed my reactor off my return pump. I don't think there will be any ill effects of shutting the pump off for a few minutes everyday. If you're worried about it, when you turn the pump off; unplug the solenoid so the CO2 stops entering the reactor.
