dirty sump help

what oculd i put in my sump to make it cleaner b.c it blows crap into my tank n makes it look dirty ...or how oculd i get the water clearer... could i put a sea hare in there?

If there's stuff collecting on the bottom, I would increase the flow through the sump. This will suspend the detrius and give your skimmer a chance to remove it. If that's not feasible you might want to try to siphon it out. You could add a filter sock to the overflow but you will have to clean it on a very regular basis and that can become a PITA.
