Dirty Water?

do LPS like acans and brains like dirtier water? in my new 15 im going to mix some nice SPS with LPS(which im new to) and want to run a pretty low nutrient system... im talking an ASM mini on 20 gallons of water with fuge, BB and lots of rock in the sump.

can they live with cleaner water?

i love to feed alot(sps love it too), but the skimmer will be crankin too...

depends what you mean by dirty water

if you are refering to increased nitrates and phosphates due to over feeding--no they won't like that

dirty water as in nitrates. i know sps love fish poo(nitrates) but they dont like high levels. meaning its in the water, but always getting taken out by the skimmer.

i wasnt positive if LPS liked nitrates and would wither with 0 detectble
