Still down in Ft. Lauderdale and have visited some awesome stores.. more on that later.. On to the matter at hand..

I have met alot of people down here, and met a guy today that works for a aquarium service / supply company and we got to talking and he told me had a couple warehouses of used equipment... well you know I had to see this...

Long story short there is a a TON of stuff in these warehouses... So if you are looking for anything let me know what it is and I will see if its in there, as I will be going back on Friday before I head home.. and I don't mean junk, I mean some nice stuff..

Here are a few things I wrote down..

Skimmers: Redsea, Corallife, Aqua C, ETSS - quoted 175.00 on ETSS and up (at least 20 skimmers in this room) and a couple of the HUGE RK2 7' skimmers... crazy Save another 10" round Beckett style skimmer, 50 bucks..

Dosing Pumps - Dozens
XM Modules
Calcium Reactors
Chillers (might now sell these)
MH Ballast (250W w/ mogal - 150.00) looks brand new (Custom Sealfe I think, and others, at least 20-30 of these
MH Mogal
Tanks (tons of sizes)
Prop Tanks
Entire Rack Systems
UV Sterilizers 15, 30W and others (lots)
Pumps (ALL KINDS)
Sand bed filter (its called something else)

and thats what I can remember...

And yes I did buy a few things already.. ;) One deal I got was an Aquacontroller, PH Prop, Temp Prop, ORP Prop, 3 XM Modules, and Interface.. 75 bucks!!!!!

I would LOVE an aqua controller that will control my lights and tank temps.

A Reef keeper 1 or Aqua controller would be great.

Do I pay you? Can he ship this stuff?


Actually, what you got is almost exactly what I would need I think.

I will describe them the best I can...

Its like the medical dosing pump, with a controller mounted to the front. I will stop by there tomorrow and get some more deteails on it, but I know they had atleast 10 or 12 of these..

There where several types of skimmers there.. Redsea, Corallife, AquaC and ETSS, as well as so other becket style skimmers that I did not see a name one. I wich I had my camera with me, I would take some shots. All the ETSS, AquaC and Beckett style where all 6" or better skimmers, one was even a 12" I do believe. I will try and get specifics if I can.

Didn't actually think to look, but there where several fairly good size acrylic tanks.. will check for you.
 
Where is this place your talking about? I am heading that way next month for a couple of weeks and would like to take a look. Can you send me the address and maybe a name and phone number to make a contact with? We are driving from Texas all the way to Key West. Any GREAT stops you might suggest on the way. I need a protein skimmer... preferably an COtopus, but really anythign rated for about 100 gallon tank, that works well, and lasts, and is less than $130....(that means, as cheap as you can find one...lol) please let me know what you find, ....dont you love finding things like that, isnt it great? you canhelp yourself, and many others get what they need and want.
 
how would this work? like would you have to pick whatever up the very next time you go, then we pay for it, or do we hear what they have specifiocally, pay you, then next time you go, you get it, or what? i dont want tomiss out on this offer, i miss out on too many things...lol
 
What kind of lights did they have? I apparently need two 250W metal halides, and that is just about all i know ..... i haver enver had them before...

Smallest I saw was a 2 Gallon.. ( I bought it) sitting next to me wiht my frags in it.. ;) They did have 2 aquapods in there however..
