Recently got a new Australian Harlequin Tusk. Added it to quarantine tank with prazipro and coppersafe slowly ramped up over 4 days.
Day 1 swam around looking good but wasn't eating. Day 2, spent most of the day near the top listless. Day 3, sat on the bottom breathing hard. Day 4, dead.
Pics attached - There seems to be an open sore or bacterial infection on the side of the body. His abdomen seem unusually swollen and his anus also showing a red protrusion.
I thought maybe Uronema but I didn't / don't see any raised scales and his body was not sliming up at all throughout the 4 day period.
Any thoughts or suggestions on what affected him would be appreciated. I have a few other fish in the same QT and they all seem fine and eating. Concerned that whatever the Tusk had was contagious and if I should be changing my course of medication.
