Well, I had an ich and flukes problem in the display. After 6 weeks of hypo, 1 quinine sulphate treatment, and 2 prazipro treatments I am pretty sure I eliminated all disease. All fish are eating well, active, and show no spotting or other visible signs of disease. Fish are in the display and have not been treated for disease for over 1 month.
My issue is my trigger. Usually he engages in some rubbing of his body against the overflow just after I turn the lights on. He will often do this repeatively for a few minutes after lights on. He will then stop rubbing and go about his business normally and usually does not do any further rubbing until the next day when I turn the lights on (although sometimes he will do some additional rubbing). He is eating extremely well and is very active. No visible signs of disease whatsoever. I have read that triggers do some rubbing sometimes and that it generally is not always a sign of disease. All other fish are behaving normallly, are not rubbing, and eating well with no visible signs of disease. Is this something to be concerned about?
