dispar and Ignitus Anthias mixed group

Hey Guys,

After a lot of research, it seems that I should keep at least 7 anthias in a group for them to be happy and healthy. What if I get mix of Dispar and Ignitus Anthias? Let say, 3 dispar and 4 Ignitus.
1. Will that work? Will that count as 7?
2. From that group, how many will turn into male? 1 male from Dispar and 1 male from Ignitus?
3. If two tuned out to be a male, will they fight?

Thank you!

You'll be fine. They aren't aggressive anthias. You may have some die off in QT so I'd suggest getting some extras.
How big is your tank? And Qt tank?

Also with these two types, again, you can add them at seperate times and not worry about aggression issues either

I am lucky enough that I have a local guy that sell treated fish so I don't need to worry about losing them in QT. I have a 55g shallow tank 30x30x15. I added 3 Ignitus and 4 Dispar to my tank and they seem to get alone very nicely. Ignitus are a bit bigger than Disper tho

I've kept both those and other species together without issue. Should be fine.

Thanks for reply!
