Dispar numbers

8-10 is recomended and make sure they are eating b4 u get them. They somtimes dont want to eat in captivity

The first time I kept dispars I got 6, they did fine. I tried to get all females and let them figure the pecking order out. 1 turned into a male and the dynamic was so interesting I got 6 more. Another turned male. The males would flash and chase each other and to the females. I highly recommend them.

I love anthias, i never tryed dispar though. a few years back i held 25 squaremintis in my 1200 l system. I just find the dispar have more interesting svimming pattern.

also depends of the size of the tank which would restrict the number you can keep successfully...I had at one point 9 and they formed two seperate groups with their own male. I currently have 5 and they all stay together with one super male....
