Display Refugium/ Mantis tank complete

Home Growin' SUSHI!
It has been a few months in the making, but it's done. This is a 17 gallon tank, drilled with bulkheads and plumbed to the sump of my 80 gallon reef tank. The refugium is lit with a 96W Coralife PC fixture, and one T5 bulb in an Odyssea fixture. There is about 8lbs of live rock, 15 lbs of sand and then Halimeda, Shaving Brush, a variety of Red Kelp, one Damsel (could be a meal if Bam Bam is feeling energetic), snails and hermits. So far Bam Bam seems to enjoy his digs, he comes out sometimes during the day and climbs the walls (which are foamed for texture and pod hiding places).

This project originally started off as nothing more than a display refugium to house thousands and thousands of pods, and microstars...but I then I found this forum and had to get a Mantis! I look forward to learning more and sharing as many good photos as I can get, and as many lessons I learn. Thanks for the help so far from a few of you in helping me get this tank ready for Bam Bam!

Here are some photos of the whole set up.

This is before I added rock and critters to the refugium. Just to get an idea of the whole tank system layout.

This is a close up of the tank to show off the foam back ground. Came out nice, and was a pretty fun project to tackle.
