Display tank 'void' with an eel?

I'm currently treating ich with hyposalinity in a QT tank. I have nothing but a 2 foot Brazilian Dragon Moray left in the display. He seems fine. But, is this tank really 'void' of fish with this moray? I've read forums where people say morays are pretty resilient to ich, but that they could be 'carriers'. Not sure how true that is. I did move the fish after spotting 3 spots on just the puffer's fin, so I did catch it really early.

So, the question is - am I really breaking the life cycle of ich leaving this eel in the main tank?

Yeah, he can definately carry ick....Wonderful eel btw.
