Display text 'clipped'

My controller is about 1 year old now and I'm noticing that the text on the main display (on the unit itself) is clipped off at the top. All numbers and letters. Zeros look like U's, for example. I think the text has been progressively 'drifting' upwards.

This is not a physical or mechanical issue. The frame of the window is not hiding the top portion of the text. The text has actually moved up on the blue background.

I don't think this a firmware/software issue, but I do have the latest firmware/software. 4.01/4.0.0.1

The dealer which I bought this controller is no longer distributing this controller and I don't believe he will be offering any support. I hope there is a way to correct this without having to ship my unit for repair.

Thanks

Hi,

Never fear that you cant get support!!

By the sounds of it the display is just not sitting correctly in the slots and is sitting too high.

Open up the unit, and reseat it and then email me at sales@aqua-digital.com with a photo if not cured.

Highly unlikely (never had a single one globally) more like display shifted up. Mine looks the exact same right now. i have mine apart weekly swapping out different modules.

hmm really, I will look at mine tonight :c) it's hidden in the basement away from the tank water condesation betwean the floor joist, so I rarely look at it.

Any news on the new View III (viewII with programable buttons) :D

I wrote this in my original post: "This is not a physical or mechanical issue. The frame of the window is not hiding the top portion of the text. The text has actually moved up on the blue background."

You can still see the top of the glass display through the window. I'm afraid the other guy is going to be right. This looks like a driver/display issue.

No...actually it's sitting on an end table next to my tank. I have noticed besides this, that the display is getting more difficult to read. The contrast is hurting a little bit.
