I believe it was put there. The amount of coral growth on it suggested that it had been there for a while. You could climb into the cockpit!

Those sponges and tunicates are awesome!!! I used to have an urchin just like that too, it glowed red sorta and everything. =)

Yeah they were all over! This red one was actually pretty rare, the majority of the urchins down there were straight black.
