I won! Has anyone been on these dives before? If so, what was the max depth so I know which camera to bring.

Congrats! I haven't done one of their dives, but based on what they do, it will be shallow....I'd expect under 30'. Acro doesn't tend to grow deep

Thanks. I ask because I have one cam that is good to 40' and is easier to carry, and one that is depth rated but is more cumbersome. I have seen local staghorn gardens down to 65' so I just want to be sure.

yeah the staghorn nurseries we have is in about 20'

I have. The nursery is in around 25 feet. If they take yo to the areas planted it will be a bit more. We went to molasses reef, cant remember how deep that was. but i think you be fine with the 40' one.

Here's my tip for you. Get a full dive skin if you can.

Other than that, have fun. It's an awesome experience.

theres moon jellys out there this time of year, so take Marvin's advice!

I dove Key largo yesterday, Giant Moon jellyfish EVERYWHERE! Surface and midwater. Every 5 feet or so.

There's also tons of fire coral every where.
