It is sending out a foot that will detach and turn into a new shroom.

hey kiknchikn how long does it take to make a new shroom i got a yuma rock with about 5 feet on them an no yumas>>?they kinds slid under the rock.. any ideas..

My yuma put out a long skinny foot that broke off in about 3 days, but hasn't done one since.

The discosoma in the picture takes anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks to break off a foot once one appears. It seems to do it every 5 - 6 weeks. It's doing another one right now as we speak, and it just broke one off last week.
