Diving on a Cruise

I am going on a cruise in the spring of next year.......we haven't decided where yet but the options are St. Thomas, St. Martin, Belize and Cozumel.

Any one of these better than the other......?

Cozumel is great for diving...and the best part is that you only pay about 50 and the locals will take you for about an hour....not very safe if youve never dove though...

Any of those locations would be nice, just check on what weather typically is that time of year.
That can make a big difference in water clarity.
I'd do a vacation certification on site with a reputable dive boat.
Most do a pretty good job keeping you out of trouble and show you the best places.

So my wifes' cousin is a Master Diver/Instructor Tax Skydiver... whatever ya call someone like that....anyway; he just raves about Belize and has lots of great pics to back up his opinion.

I was curious what everyone had to say about the Virgin Islanda?

Belize is one of the most beautiful dive spots there is, and would probably be my first choice.
Again, just check on what it's known for as weather during the time you plan to go.
There are alot of places that are beautiful, except when it's hurricane/ monsoon or whatever season.

I snorkeled in St. Maarten last September....beautiful place....going snorkeling in Jamaica and the Caymans in about 5 days.....can't wait!

Well given the days events........I think we will pass on the Stingray Experience package ! ! ! and just go diving with reef sharks ! ! !

We just got back from our cruise....went to Stingray City in the Cayman's the day after Irwin died......lots of people there, didn't look like too many people were worried.....his death was a freak accident anyway. Got to feed and even kiss the rays......beautiful place!!!
