Call me crazy but I got into this and went all out. I'm a swimming pool builder that has been into anything to do with water and water features. So when my wife bought two gold fish it was over I wanted to build an aquarium. Of course nothing is going to be a simple design or build when it comes to diy projects and me. Started freshwater acrylic aquarium bought a wet dry sump and before I was done bought the acrylic for my reef tank. Thousands later on lights pumps variable speed of course lol. I'm stuck on my refugium design and thinking way too much into it. Need help please! Bought a protein skimmer used hope it is big enough and started then got stumped about the size. Reef tank I'm doing is 3' length 2' depth and 2' tall started the sump have it at 30" length 12" depth and 18" tall. Will include pictures of the sump and parts I have. Really don't want to redue possibly connect just a refugium to sump with plumbing?
