i'd tell you but then Id have to ger rid of you:D :rollface. Actualy I turned the impeller cover so that It would fit right into the pump. Then I tired diffrent size spacer to see what it would do. Took me about 4hr to figure it out. [/QUOTE]

You mean to put the spacer on the bottom of the magnet to raise the needle wheel closer toward the cover?

Loc

yup but i also did the same to the front of the impeller. Look at the needle wheel that is on finreefs and you will see what i am talking about.

So you shoved the needle wheel all the way to the bottom and then use spacers to lift the whole impeller toward the cover. Am I right?

nope I left the needle wheel the same but put a spacer in the back and in the front. So that the back of the needle wheel it selfe it right in the middle, about 3/16 away from the front cover. Its kind of hard to explain but i can show you how it look. Also I sent you a pm hope you can help me out on that one.

My internal bk in action, not bad for 2 days of skimming, the skimmate appears to be pretty dark in color.

so loc what do you think, does the 1260 pumps kick bu77 or what. I am still braking in the g4 skimmer tube but hopefully it will start skimming like yours soon.

I couldn't capture the full shot because of space limited, but I have a shot of the bottom part, kind of give you the idea. Sorry for the picture kind of blurry.

Mchava,
I like the pumps. I will try a few more mods hopefully I can get it running even better.
