DIY Help

I need to fashion a "bracket" to mount float switches to for an ATO. Switches are presently attached to a powerhead mounting bracket - It does not reach down far enough for my water level.

Looking for locally available source for materials - I can probably use a strip of plexi and heat it with heat gun. I think aquahub offers "mold a holder" that I believe you boil for forming.

Thoughts and suggestions are more than welcome.

Great idea!

Are "raw" magnets reef safe? By "raw", I mean a magnet not enclosed (like magfloats) - Can't tell if the magclips are encased or not.

Ah... No.

Let's think about what's required to make a magnet: Iron (read: it'll corrode faster that than a 1971 Ford Pinto in the Cleveland snowbelt)

Magclips / Magfloats / Magrocks, etc. are sealed in plastic.
