DIY How To connect your new LOA Light safely

Yep, I'm bringing this thread back from the dead. Its a great DIY thread, so I'm sure y'all won't mind. I'm just now getting around to wiring this bad boy up for my new frag tank/fuge setup.

Steve, quick question: The power cord I'm using has blue, brown, and green/yellow wire. I used my multimeter to determine the green/yellow is the ground. The blue wire is the right connector of the plug if looking straight at it (not if plugging it into the wall) and the brown is the left. So which one goes to black and which to white?

Thanks!

My guess for guessing sake, so I can't lie to myself when I am wrong...... green/yellow wire is the ground, the blue wire is neutral, and the brown wire is hot. Which I believe is the European standard wire colors?

Lets have Jordan plug it in.....

My main question, as I stumble into the conversation like a drunk Irishman on St. Patricks day, how much have peoples P04 gone down since implementing this lighting?

Mark,
Blue is netural (White)
and brown is hot (Black)

Dots,
Yeah it brought down my Po4 a little, but not enough.
I still must run a po4 reactor to keep levels in check :(
So it's really only for No3
