All,
I just setup a DIY kalk reactor. I hooked it up in-line with my auto topoff (Tunze Osmolator). I built it mostly from supplies from Rock City Machine in downtown Nashville. I made it out of a double height (20") water filter housing. Total cost was around $70.
So far it is working great! -- really leveling out my pH with small kalk additions rather than the big bolus additions I was doing prior to getting an auto topoff. Not to mention I can be lazier now

The original inspiration for doing this came from c_stowers, although I'm pigheaded like he is so I had to do this my own way
