diy kriesel

So i have a custon diy refugium that i would liek to convert into a diy kriesel.

I was wondering if someone could go into more detail on how they put the mesh on the top right corner? (considering the water flows in left and out right)

Would 35 micron be to small? I am capable of cleaning it daily.

Thanks guys.

I'm considering attempting to make an acrylic tube 8 or ten inches in diameter for the refugium. in the future i may even make them longer, i hav access to a pizza oven that is 4 1/2 feet long.

I've been researching how to do this, but the terminology on the threads are foreign to me, and barely explained.

Is a jig just a way of holding down an acyrlic tube so that you can make a straight cut?

How do i mold the pvc into the tube?

Would i heat it up as a sheet inside of the oven, then remove it and roll it around a cylinder premade to make the right sized tubing?

If i could find the right sized rubbermaid trashcan, or other like object, could that be used? it may not look nice, but no damage to fry because of it right?

If this winds up being to complicated i will just use the hexagonal technique with flat strips of plexiglass that so many others have used.

Still need to figure out how to fasten the micron mesh to the kriesel so hat it doesn't let my nauplius out, but is still removable for cleaning...
